NDA 1 Vacancy 2023
According to the UPSC NDA 2023 notification that has been released along with the official NDA notification 2023 on 21st December 2022, the number of vacancies for the NDA 1 exam 2023 has been released along with the number of vacancies for the UPSC NDA 1 exam 2023.
For the NDA 1 Exam 2023, there are a total of 395 vacancies that will be filled by the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the Naval Academy (NA), out of which 352 vacancies are for the NDA and 42 vacancies for the NA. NDA 1 2023 Online Form
There is an online application form for the UPSC NDA 1 exam 2023 that can be filled out on UPSC’s website starting today 21st December 2022 and ending on 12th January 20 Interested candidates can fill out the NDA form 2023 through online registration by clicking the link given below. Candidates who are interested in applying for the NDA-I 2023 should do so by clicking on the link below. Between the 18th and 24th of January 2023, the candidates are able to withdraw their NDA application form.
NDA 2023 Application Fee
- It is necessary to pay Rs 100/- as application fee for candidates belonging to the General Category
- It is possible to submit the fee directly by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card or directly with the State Bank of India by using any branch of the bank by cash or by using the net banking facility provided by the bank.
- The fee for the recruitment test is exempted from payment for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories/son of JCOs/NCOs/ORs and some other candidates.
UPSC NDA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For candidates to be eligible for the Defence Jobs, they need to meet the following minimum qualifications. Below you will find information about the Education Qualification, the Age Limit, the Nationality, and the Physical Standards for candidates applying for Defence Jobs.
NDA Education Qualification
National Defence Academy’s Army Wing consists of the following: Candidate must have passed the 12th standard/High School Diploma or equivalent examination from a state education board or a university by the date of application
There are the following requirements for both the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as the Indian Naval Academy’s 10 2 Cadet Entry Scheme: It is essential that the candidate has completed their 12th Class/High School Diploma or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, either from a State Educational Board or from a University that is recognized in the field.
Note: There is also no age limit for appearing in the UPSC NDA examinations if the candidate has successfully passed the 12th Class under the 1022 School Education or an equivalent examination.
NDA Age Limit
The only eligible candidates for the position are unmarried males/females born between July 02nd 2004 and July 1st 2007 who have not yet married.
Nationality
Candidate must be an unmarried man or woman and should be able to show the following characteristics:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Bhutan
- Subject of Nepal
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1st of January 1962, with the intent to remain permanently in India, or anyone who came to India with the same intention.
- People of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, but have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, and Vietnam only temporarily.
NDA Physical Standards
As per the physical requirements for both the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy, all candidates for admission must meet the following physical requirements in order to be considered for admission:
- Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes
- Skipping
- Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each
- Chin-ups: Minimum 08
- Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters

UPSC NDA 2023 Selection Process
In the U.S., the UPSC NDA 1 Exam is an exam offered by the Union Public Service Commission as an opportunity to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the country who wish to work in defence jobs. NDA 2023 Syllabus
It would be necessary for the candidates to prepare well for two subjects in the NDA Exam: Mathematics and General Ability Test. NDA 1 SSB Interview 2023
In the SSB Interview, the candidates who have qualified in the written exam will be assessed in terms of their intelligence and personality. After qualifying for the written test, they will be interviewed by the officials in two stages. As part of the interview round, candidates must submit their birth certificates as well as their school certificates.
As a result of all the candidates’ performance in both the written examination as well as the interview round, a merit list will be prepared.
NDA Exam 2023 Admit Card
For the exam scheduled for 16th April 2023, UPSC is expected to release the NDA II Admit Card in March 2023 for the exam. If you intend to apply to UPSC for the NDA I exam, you will be able to download your admit card using the registration number and password that you generated when you submitted your application for the UPSC NDA I 2023 exam on the official UPSC website @upsc.gov.in.
NDA Exam 2023 Answer Key
The answer key for UPSC NDA I Exam will be released officially after the written test has been conducted. As soon as the commission has issued the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to submit their objections to the provisional answer key. The final answer key will only be released once the provisional answer key has been assessed and any objections have been submitted.
NDA Exam 2023 Result
After the NDA-I 2023 Exam has been conducted and the results of the written test have been released, the names of those candidates shortlisted for interview will be published about one month after the exam has been conducted.
In the following days, after the SSB interview process for the 151st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and the 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), the commission will release a list of candidates selected for the admissions to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC) of the NDA.
UPSC NDA 2023 Cut Off
It is important to note that the cut off marks for the written exam and final selection will be released shortly after the final result has been announced. The NDA Cut Off marks will be calculated out of 900 points. Based on the marks obtained by the last recommended candidates out of 1800 marks (900 for the written exam and 900 for the SSB interview), the final cutoff marks are calculated.
