UPSC Interview Questions

Even smart students who score highly on written examinations are often frightened to take part in interviews, since they cannot predict what questions will be asked by the UPSC board panelists at this last session.

It is still important to remember that despite the differences in the format, the recipe for success remains the same. It is also possible to overcome this final obstacle if you work diligently and strategically, do not neglect preparation, practice for mock interviews, and maintain your composure in order to overcome it.

The IAS interview would only be easy for those candidates who had studied well for the exam and had a good understanding of what to expect. Candidates who have taken and passed the exam may be able to shed some light on the situation. Be modest and accept that you may not have all the answers.

How to Prepare for UPSC Interview 2023?

During your IAS interview, you will have the opportunity to change the course of your life in less than half an hour. In just over 30 minutes, a candidate who has performed well during the UPSC interview can sometimes separate themselves from other candidates by more than 100 points. Being in the final round of India’s most difficult competition would give one an unbeatable advantage.

However, it is often the case that the top interviewers are also included in the final selection list, even though the final rank list is formed by adding the scores from the UPSC main examination and the interview.

UPSC Interview Panel Members

The UPSC interviews are conducted by eight to nine different boards of which a chairman serves as the chairperson, whereas the other four members are invited by the UPSC to serve on the board. Each board consists of a chairman and four other members.

UPSC IAS Interview Important Points

During the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, the final part of the test is the IAS interview or UPSC Personality Test. Applicants did not need to submit RTPCR results that were four days old for the 2020 IAS Interview, as they were required to do so during the 2020 IAS Interview.

A Sealed Kit (facial shield, gloves, and sanitizer) will be provided to the Personality Test panel and the interviewee for each of the interviews in order to ensure safety during the interview. You can download the letters from the UPSC website (upsc.gov.in). In order to conduct the UPSC interview properly in 2023, the commission will ensure that all health safety and safety measures are implemented.
